She is a  teacher, a published writer and the Past Editor of the Journal, Attachment New Directions in Psychotherapy and Relational Psychoanalysis. Orit specialises in attachment theory, complex trauma and working with clients who have been diagnosed with DID. Her book Shame Matters  (Routledge,2022)won the Gradiva award 2022.
