Retired clinical psychologist and award-winning author of books for children and adolescents. She has practiced clinical psychology for more than 30 years in the Baltimore area. In her practice, she provided individual therapy and psychoeducational evaluations to children, adolescents and young adults, as well as family and marriage therapy. He earned a PhD from the University of Virginia, followed by an internship in pediatric psychology and a fellowship in adolescent medicine at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. He has served as facilitator and principal consultant in a multi-year multi-specialty community engagement project with the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health and Carnegie Mellon University.
